Pour l’accompagner, le pianiste a invité Géraldine Laurent, saxophoniste à fleur de peau, et André Minivelle, chanteur gourmand, virtuose du vocable. Configuration minimale qui s’en tient au génie rythmique, à la fantaisie tenace et à la nostalgie insondable de Trenet.

And it comes as no surprise to find him enamored with Trenet, he who so beautifully honored La Dame Brune in the album Pour Barbara. To accompany him, the pianist has invited Géraldine Laurent, a deeply expressive saxophonist, and André Minvielle, a passionate singer and virtuoso of words. A minimalistic setup that remains faithful to Trenet’s rhythmic genius, tenacious whimsy, and unfathomable nostalgia.
